WolfStrike Reaches Agreement with Mint Wireless

Listed mobile payments and transactions company Mint Wireless has entered into an agreement with WolfStrike to offer integrated payments across multiple mobile devices under WolfStrike’s own brand in the Australian market.

“WolfStrike is delighted to be partnering with Mint, who have an admirable track record in delivering mobile payment solutions rapidly for customers,” said Ian Bailey, CEO of WolfStrike.

Under the distribution agreement with WolfStrike, WolfStrike’s customers will be able to turn their iOS or Android devices into fully featured credit and debit card payment systems and accept payments anywhere, anytime.

Card chip and PIN will be made compulsory in Australia in August and in New Zealand in October – events that Mint Wireless stated are accelerating demand for its mobile payment technologies.

Mint Wireless chief executive Robin Khuda said in an announcement to the ASX that the company has a healthy outlook after a boost from investors this year.

“Through a $10 million capital injection from our institutional investors in May 2014, Mint has ramped up the company’s sales and marketing efforts and product development initiatives,” said Khuda.

“We are pleased with our achievements and momentum generated over the past three months. Mint is now well positioned to capitalise on its disruptive technologies that are driving innovation within the financial services industry.”

Mint Wireless’ headquarters is in Sydney, with operations also in London and Singapore.
